Steel A990 Style Hood Scoop

I ordered a steel hood scoop 2 years ago from Joey Cole aka The Tyne Man and up until a month ago I thought I had been ripped off. I received a text from Joey and a picture of my nearly completed scoop. It looks like a wonderful example of the work I had been told he does and I just wanted to update this site as I was pretty hard on Joey. He seems like a good guy and apparently had a lot of set backs in his life and they all hit at once. I apologized to him and he apologized to me and all seems on track. I will send a picture of the completed scoop when I receive it.

I have a NOS WO/RO scoop in my garage. It came from the Keith Black garage sale, after he passed.

It took 1 year to arrive

I have to agree that a year is too long for most people's projects. For some of mine, it could be 5 -years though. LOL

Yup,
I had contacted him numerous times
He told me he works "full time" and then has too many projects and has to catch up.
I paid $700 for mine, again, 2005.

Well I guess I wouldn't mind waiting as long as he was straight up with me on time frame, his craftsmanship is worth the wait that's for sure !
