Steering column collapsed

Was putting my steering column into the car wjjr I realized it was collapsed.

Can I use epoxy to reglue it or what should I use?

I see some people put screws through but that's not a good idea.

Post #106 and 114. Also be sure to check your outer column for damage in the crumple "mesh" zone!
