steering column help

I have a steering column for a 70 RR that I need to replace the upper main shaft in. The steering wheel was removed and vice grips installed to move the car around. This really messed up the splines. This is a floor shift car with a console. I do have a 70 satellite with column shift. Are the main shafts the same in both columns? The rest of the column is good. Thanks for any advice.

Yes the main shaft is the same for col auto to floor shift but power and manual shafts are different
