What Black did they paint the column in a 1971 GTX with the black interior, Flat, satin or gloss black.

Being a newbie to Mopars I cannot answer your question with any authority. Others on this site can. But, I believe it would have been a low gloss lacquer from one of the big three paint makers at the time. When I updated my beater to driver statues , I did not want to pay $100 bucks for a pint of lacquer , so , I did a spray bomb and am quite pleased with the results. Use a low gloss, not semi gloss, black spray and then topcoat it with a matte clear coat, also a spray bomb. I was very happy with the turnout and am in the process of doing another one that way.
