I have a 1966 Belvedere almost done, during the test drive when turning the steering wheel It feels rough almost like a grinding feel, seems maybe getting worse each time I try it. it doesn't seem to be in a bind or causing hard steering, my next step was to get the wheels aligned but if have to replace the steering box I might wait.
I am trying to determine if its in the column or steering box, anyone have suggestions or had similar problems,
also any contacts for parts for the column if needed? I suspect the column but I know the box is been outside longer without use.
