i had some these made to fit in lower section of my 65 coronet column. don't know if it would work on a 66.

Is that the white plastic piece with 2 screws?
homemade jobbie to fill the bottom of the column and give the shaft something to rest on. works great in my 65's column. by the way, my 65 column does have 2 screws that hold this in place.
