Steering Coupler

Easy to rebuild, seemed like the kit was about $15.00 or so.

At this point, if it had been on a car with headers for a long time and was left dry, it could be worn past the point of being serviceable. Won't know until you open it up. Replacement couplers are around $100, I believe.

If you can feel ridges from where the metal shoes ride on the inside of the coupler, then I would replace. If not, just put in a rebuild kit.

Mine was still tight, greased and looking good so I just bought a new rubber gasket, cleaned it, re-greased it and put it back on. I see no sense in replacing them unless they are pretty worn (pretty simple and durable design).
