Ive pulled my steering shaft apart to find its shafted!
Need some new parts but havent been able to find them.
The rubber or whatever was in the adapter from the steering shaft to the box
The big plastic bearing in the lower part of the shaft and also the bearing in the top.

You can purchase those from the Mopar parts vendors....Mega parts, classic etc.

Shipping would be pricey

I think shipping would be cheap since those parts all together weigh less than 2 lbs. The "adapter" you're referring to is usually called a "steering coupler" and they sell rebuilt kits for $35'ish with all new clips + that seal. Both the bearings are readily available too. You might need a little tool ("bearing puller") to get the bearing out on top & the bottom one is easy to install.

Is any overseas shipping cheap? I bet the shipping is about half the cost or more of those parts...

I should know because I have shipped to Australia before...

What car are you working on and do you know if the K frame is the original? Power steering is usually pretty close to the frame rail....

On shipping parts over seas....man! Shipped a set of 911 heads to Denmark a couple of years ago and the shipping was more than the price for the heads and the heads weren't exactly cheap.

I sold an intake to a guy in Norway. He had a shipping company in New Jersey that had a container and when it was full they would ship the full container to Norway. It took a couple months to get the intake. He asked me to put the intake in the smallest box possible. Shipping company charged by volume, small the box, cheaper shipping. Maybe an Aussie company does something like that. I only had to ship to NJ, once it got to NJ if anything happened after that it was his problem, all when well.

I dont think it would be the original as the original was a 318 i believe and now has a 440 in it.
Its 69 coronet.
By pretty close, do they usually rub?

If that is a 69 v8 k frame it will fit small block and big block except hemi and slant six....

They are close but do not rub. Is the box fully secured properly?

Right...V8 K frames accept other V8's and like moparnation says, the /6 and the Hemi are different. However, there are companies out there that make the brackets to fit a V8 onto a /6 K frame but I'm not sure about fitting the Hemi into anything other than a Hemi K.....

No not that close.....I will try to take a pic this evening...
