any body covert the steering shaft to a ujoint to the steering box
if so where did you get it from
my belvedere I convert to p.s. I had to cut the shaft any way , so now I would upgrade to a u joint for smoother steering and less slack

Thinking of going this route when I do mine. Speedway has the joints in quite a few styles. Let us know what you come up with. Is your shaft the welded style or the one with pins?

when i converted from power to manual steering, i used the kit from mancini racing.worked great and still does.smooth steering.

i went from manual to power, i shortend the shaft and weld it back ,
i see that classic industries has some joints , will look into that,
but besides that i love my car , the slant six really puts hard in 2nd at 75 mph (automatic trans no lock up ,yet) it s got 2.94 diff , my twin webers and headers from clifford work well. i'm glad i went with that package
the car is so cool looking , this guy in a new Ferrari pulled up beside me on the highway and giving me thumbs up.
