NFL films Pres. Steve Sable 1942-2012, died last week from brain cancer @ 69 years old, I'm surprised nobody else posted this already... R.I.P. Steve you & your father will be running game film, for the "big guy" upstairs now....

I know we've had a dry spell lately, but his death is stretching "celebrity" status quite a bit.

No offense to the newly departed of course.

He was great all the NFL films were done perfectly watching his films as a kid is what motivated me to love football so much R.I.P. Steve.

:iamwithstupid: I miss spelled his last name too... I know, but he was a celebrity in my eyes, I grew up on NFL films, I think he & his Father before him, actually helped to bring the game to the masses........................................ "The Autumn Wind is a Raider" great old John Facenda line, in the beginning of the original CBS NFL Films week end shows in the 70's...

Would that be John Facenda?

:iamwithstupid: That's a good one, better than mine maybe, he had a great voice over... I actually meant the boss Al Davis...LOL... Sorry I really meant the Lord, God, Allah, The Savior, Buddha, Jehovah, or whomever your religion has a the top of the heap, they pray to....
