The Vernal Equinox is upon us having officially started on March 19th of this year. Longest day of sunlight and now the days start getting shorter. The Earth's axis is not tilted toward or away from the sun, resulting in nearly equal periods of daylight and darkness worldwide. cr8crshr/Bill

We still do it the old way....seasons start on the first of the month each quarter.

It's no wonder people moan about how summer is hotter than it used to be.

For us Winter started on June 1st. Spring is September 1st, Summer is December 1st and Autumn (Fall) is March 1st.

Kiwi...That is why I always had an endless summer when I would travel down under with the USAF!!! Also the opposite for winter...cr8crshr/Bill

the weather prognosticators, say it's 86*f here
but it's a lil' less than that at my house 82*- 83*f
been mild so far this year, we had a couple get into the 90*'s
for the most part it's been 'reasonably cool' 70*s -maybe 80*s
for this time of year
supposed to get warmer tomorrow in the low-mid 90*'s
it'll be 100* soon enough

(yet all the mass media weather crap says been the hottest in record
just more easy fake/lazy mass media reporting)

this alleged extreme heat warning, "BS heat wave"
in compassing the south & east now is just a regional weather pattern,
it will pass

as it does get hot
I do sort of feel sorry for those that don't usually need A/C
that wish they had it now
especially back east
