Superbird will not start unless I jump the starter relay. Purchased new SR, but same problem. Neutral safety switch? Ignition switch? What do you think?

Thanks!

Fusible link blown?

Do you have power when you turn the key on? lights work etc. NSS needs a ground connection in order to work from the starter relay so if your in gear the levers in the trans change position which cause the NSS to diengage and break contact with the starter relay. it would be bad if it started in gear that's the test lol just don't floor it lol.

I reseated the wiring harness connection to the steering column and problem solved- I should have started with the simplest fix first! Thanks for your input.
