Do to health reasons I really can't care for or enjoy my cars anymore. I have to move on and deal with the hand one is dealt. Up for sale is my #1 restored 1963 Dodge Polara 500 Max Wedge. It is documented in the Darrell Davis registry, Galen Govier authenticated, and has the original broadcast sheet, copy of IBM card and other original docs. All hidden body numbers match the fender tag and all paper docs. It is all original sheet metal and glass. Too much more, so email if seriously interested. I don't believe you could find another like it. $120K or a very serious offer will buy it.:sad1:

Sorry to hear this. Since I live in south Jersey, I'll mention it to the folks over here. I found a pic that you had posted on here.

Thank you. Anyone can send me a PM with their phone number and I will be glad to call. There is much to tell about this wonderful piece of history and I can't do it justice in a few words of a post.

I took a shot. I guess this forum is not the place to offer a car like this for sale.

It is a good place !!

We all may not have a chunk of change to drop on a wonderful Max Wedge car, but we have our own little network of friends and acquintences.

Info not passed along is wasted.

Info passed along thru various circles has a tremendous reach.

You just posted on the 27th. High ticket items are not moving too fast with the economy like it is. Just so much uncertainty these days that the ones that have some money are hanging onto it and the ones with a ton of money may not visit internet sites that much but are also trimming back and hanging onto what they have but I do know of a few that do visit and have money so posting here isn't a waste of time. Also, posting on all the sites that you can to get the most exposure helps...RacingJunk.com is also a good place. In today's economy, all you can do to get the word out helps. Good luck in selling it and I hope your health takes a turn for the better.

Did you seriously expect a 120K car to sell in three days? Put it on E-bay for maximum exposure.

I think I have come to my senses. This car is 1 of 79. How many are still left? I will just keep it warm and clean. If someone truly wants a unique piece of history, I would be happy to discuss the car. Thanks and happy holidays to everyone.

I just received Galen Govier's most recent authentication. It is in a new format. This car is 1 of 9 he has accounted for and only 2 of 2 so optioned! I knew it was rare but not that rare.

Well guys, this really hurts, but my health has not gotten better but a bit worse. I took advice from many of you and it is currently posted on Ebay. I will entertain serious offers. It really is one of a kind. By the way, the Corvette and Judge are for sale also.

Really sorry to hear this skyman. I have been watching this thread kind of hoping things would pull around for you. I just ultimately hope that the car goes where it will be loved and appreciated for what it is. If it wasn't worth more than my salary over a three + year span, it would be hard to resist. It would be awesome if you were able to find a kind hearted buyer somewhat local. It'd be nice to be able to visit with her on days your health was a bit better than others.

Sorry to hear about your health not getting better! Also having to sell the toys,If I could afford another car at this time I'd be on the 63! Just no in the budget.Hope your health takes a turns for the better!
