I just scored a factory sway bar and LCAs with mounts from ebay for my 66.

There are no linkage rods to attach them together (I've seen these sold as a set aftermarket) and I'm sure the rubber in the bushings that mount to the K fame will need replacing.

I've looked at PST, Just Susp, and Hotchkiss.

Some of them are not the easiest sites.

Anyone have personal experience?

Other than drilling the K frame. and maybe a nut, is there anything else I need to be aware of?

Thanks.

Oh, yeah, $60 for all, and local pickup :icon_cheers:

Hmm. The sway bar mounts have NO rubber, and they are open on the back side. I expected them to be closed and difficult to get the rubber out.

Positive side #1- it looks like an easy drill, and the guy's parts car had a dealer installed bar, but the K frame was drilled for a factory bar, and plenty of room to get at the backside.

Positive side #2- I also scored an extra hood (believe it or not-in Y1 paint) and a pair of buckets with tracks all for an additional $80.

That's the second time I've laughed while reaching for my wallet:eek:ccasion14:
