Here's some pictures of my '69 Road Runner, in 1986, the first picture is at a show in Cypress Park Ca.
a few weeks after that I added the Centerline wheels,
it was after a show that I was on my way home from, I decided to get something to eat, it was a detour that I wished never happened, instead of going right at the light I normally go to go home, I went straight towards "Jack In The Box", well the next thing I know, I'm heading backwards going the same direction!, I came to a screeching halt, the motor still running, I was covered in glass and didn't realize what happened, well this lady ran a red light and T-boned me!
let me give a little history on the car:
'69 Road Runner, 383/auto. console w/deluxe bucket interior, power steering, power disc brakes ,A/C, power windows, 8 track w/3 speaker set up,rear window defogger,3 spoke wheel, tach, and it was originally "Vitamin C" orange, 3.23 sure grip, it was basically optioned like a GTX!
the guy I bought it from (the 2nd owner) didn't like the color, and stripped to the bare metal, engine compartment too, it was flawless!
anyways the car was repaired by a friends shop, that specialized in major collision repairs, they replaced the quarter/door, repaired the buckled section of floor, I watched the entire process for a month, when they were done and the car was reshot, you couldn't tell it was ever hit!, in fact the passenger door shut better than the driver's side!
I sold it a few months later to a neighbor, who still has it today, I saw it a month ago and it's still beautiful.
