Anyone know where I can get this color possible in a spray can?
thanks

Any auto paint shop should be able to mix it for you and put it in a spray can. I will caution you though I had this done and it was darker from the spray can then my paint. Same place mixed my paint for the spray can and in the gallon pail but the issue was, and I'm recalling from memory, that the PPG paint they used in spray cans was a different product line so that was the reason for the variation.

Ive tried https://www.automotivetouchup.com/ for my T7 Newport with great success. It takes them a bit to ship it out though as they custom mix it every time. Buy one more can than you need though, just in case. And you will need a clear as well.

Hmmm.....I may be in a bit of a quandary....went to this website, and they don't list "T5 Bronze Fire".....maybe that's not my color!!!! no fender tag...:(

nothing but the VIN number.....

hmmm...well, as mentioned previously, if you can get a paint chip (from an inconspicuous spot) and bring it to a local paint supply they should be able to match it. Whereabouts on the car do you need to touch up?

am actually wanting to detail the engine compartment, with same car color

Looking at your avatar, that is T5 as I had the same car back in my younger days and know the color well.

Agree with dadeo, I have a T5 and yours looks exactly like mine. But like I said the company I got my paint from just used the factory paint code and the spray can and what was used in the spray gun do not exactly match. The color varied even with the same manufacturer (PPG) I'm thinking it's because when you use a gun the clear and paint are separate where in a spray can maybe it's premixed...I don't know I'm not exactly a chemist I'm not sure how spray paint works. Either way you go make sure you get more than you need because if they have to remix, chances are they won't exactly match.

Regarding Automotive touchup.com, the paint in the spray can is the basecoat. You would have to spray the clearcoat separately.

IMHO, I would see if there is somebody who can match it locally for you.

If the car can't move, take a panel and do the color match.

That accounts for any variance in shading and for sun fading.

I've had three done- YY1, JY3, and EW1, and they've all been 100% dead on.

I have had pp1 red put in cans and it was a bit darker than the body.By the way,I also had a t5 bronze 69 runner, love that color!

...and you can use a preval brand sprayer to spray mixed paint like a spray can.

...but for anything bigger than a square foot or so, I'd go ahead and use a cheap HF or Lowes spray gun and even a cheap 2 or 3 CFM compressor

thanks everyone!
