Tach pinned all the way up

Just swapped my orange box out for an MSD 6al. I ran the gray wire from the MSD box to a pin on the back of the tachometer. Problem is I dont remember where the previous wire ran to. I think the coil, but I'm not sure. So now when I turn the key on, the needle pinns itself all the way up. The car isn't ready to start yet, but I thought maybe someone out there would recognize this problem.

Car is a 70 Coronet rt 440.

Any suggestions?

Also the MSD ignition sends a different signal than a stock coil to the tach. Make sure you have an MSD compatible tach or adaptor or all sort of weird things can happen.
