Tail light issues

I have a 68 RR,all my lights work marker,turn signal etc.push brake pedal,left front marker light comes on. Iam not for sure if it is a grounding issue or what.Ihave the ground strap from motor to firewall.Negative wire to radiator support and cylinder head.Ihave added grounds to the taillights any Help would be very appreciated.

Sounds like someone spliced into the harness...You have brake power going to the marker light...I hate wiring...You have to have paitence...At least with body work you can see you are making headway...

im a little confused. everything works ,but when you hit the break the left front marker comes on? is that whats wrong?? if so ,it doesnt sound like a ground issue to me. you need to as 1BadGTX said , have patience and start tracing wires. something is crossed. brake switch works, but power is going to wrong source. start there. and work towards the problem.

Yeah! Front marker light comes on goes off as you apply brake.My turn signals work,marker light,headlights etc.This car will have every nut and bolt turned on it.I am just working on small issues now.I did not have the bracket for the brake switch.I had no luck finding a repop.one.I made one from some pics I seen. Thanks in advance for any help.

Weird things happen when;
bad ground on anything
some azz before you tried to install a mac daddy stereo
turn signal in column bit it
Flashers switch bad.

Start by checking for 12 volts at each light, ohming the grounds.

Tail light,turn signal problems cont.

Well, I found where a light green and a dark green were spliced together.It seems that I have no power to the front turn signal.Everything else works.I checked continuity from gauge cluster to spliced part of light green wire(good).From spliced part to the turn signal(good).I have found that both turn signal indicators in the gauge cluster,bottom half of cluster lights do not work.The bulbs look good.Would the circuit board or the voltage limiter be bad?Thanks in advance for any help.
