Talk about balls of steel

Yea that was very impressive. Dont really drink the stuff, but RedBull has there hands in some pretty neat stuff.

RC when I first read the post I thought that it was this video that was posted a while back

Thanks RC . . . I remember reading about it - the feat is amazing none the less . . . his speed was incredible too . . .

wow...didnt relize he went that fast, impressive!!!!!!!thanks rc

He must have an iron stomach too. I got a little queasy just watching the vid. That is truly amazing.

As a person who has skydived a few times (tandem and by myself), there is no way to describe free-falling from 13,500ft other than it is exhilarating. There is just something about falling at 120mph for 60 seconds and then enjoying the views. With that said, I don't think I could do it at the height that gentleman did, I would probably poop my pants especially when he started to flat spin. My hats off to him and the first person to do it, as someone had to be the guinea pigs so that our pilots can be the best in the world. :plane::sFl_america2:

there's a cat that works with me that "dives" on a regular basis. He's followed this and says he can't imagine doing this or the training. He rates this right up there with Yeager and Garlits... true pioneers

Speaking of balls of steel I saw this for the first time today... They paid him 2 million to do it and he said he would not do it again for 10 million!

No way in hell man .. Can you imagine thinking holy F I made it .. then having to go off that building !

That was cool RC. Thanks

The Tom Petty song "free falling" is close enough for me.

What is really amazing to see is when he is at 800+ MPH that there is no movement of the fabric on his suit. Basically no air up there for resistance so that is why he got moving so fast. I think the biggest risk is if he got spinning out of control because the lack of wind resistance would not let him counteract it.

When I think back about some of the things we did as kids growing up with bicycles and motorcycles and having people tell us we were crazy and then look at what these people are doing.....what we did doesn't hold a candle to them!

not for me, I've jumped a few times & it's a rush for sure, but that's way too high, talk about "balls of titanium" more like

We were doing BMX years before the name was coined and was doing some pretty big jumps etc. Bent axles and tweaked frames were common but for some reason, I finally got my driver's license and forgot about anything with two wheels lol
