Anyone know a source for a temperature gauge sending unit for a 67 GTX with A/C? I can't think of any reason these should be different from a non-A/C car but they seem to be. Does the A/C really make any difference?

Also anyone have a source for a parking brake switch for a 67 GTX? I can find ones from salvage yards used ($25 plus shipping) and NOS ($50 plus shipping), but no new reproductions?

Thanks!

I just saw one on ebay do not know if it correct part number was NOS TU-21

the temp senders are different from AC to non-AC cars...it's the connection at the top...non AC senders have threads on top of sender, AC senders are flat so the pigtail slides on from the side....I might have some here, but any auto parts store can get them

the non-AC senders are too tall to fit under the compressor

I can't imagine why the temp sending unit would be different for an AC car.

Mine looks like it is on the alternator side rather than the compressor side and does not appear to have any clearance issues. It has the connection that slips over the threads. Am I missing something here or has mine been moved from the original location? There seem to be a lot of options for mounting a temp sensor. There are two additional plugs near where mine is mounted. I have tried looking in the 67 parts manual for the temperature gauge sending unit under the electrical, cooling, motor, and miscellaneous parts sections and can't find a part description or number anywhere.
