Hi All-
I have seen a number of threads discussing the variation in Plum Crazy paint, depending on who the vendor is. For those looking for a budget alternative to PPG, here are the results of a test spray I did on the back of a 72 Roadrunner and an old tail gate using The Restoration Shop (TCP Global?) plum crazy paint.
Some of these pictures were taken in the middle of a summer day in Florida, so you can see the appearance when hit with direct sunlight as opposed to just being outside. If you like the color, this was color code 2516 of the Restoration Shop paint.
This can be purchased for about $120 in a single stage acrylic urethane kit.
