Texas Truck Crash Caught on Tape, Two Injured

yep seen it bet the camera guy crapped himself.

Kind of fun to see that Furd Pickup get toasted at the end.
Hopefully the guy in the yellow jacket got completely out of the way. His brain was trying to make his legs move faster than they could and he went down. Been there.

Looked like someone was in or behind the suv on the left that got smashed by the trailer.

I'd say there were a few people there that had to change their shorts. Kudos to whoever sounded the alarm with the heads up!

total fog,and a trucker running 70mph....what could go wrong?
seriously, how do you even see the highway in that fog at that speed?

Drive in the Central Valley in California during the winter......people driving too damn fast and multi car pile ups happen all the time.

Gotta slow down in that kind of weather.

Common sense is to drive slower but human nature sometimes tells you to drive faster to get past the fog. I've seen reports that people actually do drive faster thinking that they will get through the fog and to clear skies.

You don't, after 15 minutes of staring into the fog your eyes begin to burn. Then you start seeing things in the fog that aren't there until there is something there, then it's to late.

When we were young we were told if we were confused or lost and couldn't find a cop, a truck driver was a close 2nd. Do that today and you may be found in a ditch alongside an interstate. I knew several guys with decades of miles under their belt that quit in the last 5 years. The stories they told about how they will hire anyone in the industry. Fresh meat, chew 'em up and bring in a new class of trainees. Hey, at least everyone wont work for Swift.
