Common sense is to drive slower but human nature sometimes tells you to drive faster to get past the fog. I've seen reports that people actually do drive faster thinking that they will get through the fog and to clear skies.Drive in the Central Valley in California during the winter......people driving too damn fast and multi car pile ups happen all the time.
Gotta slow down in that kind of weather.
You don't, after 15 minutes of staring into the fog your eyes begin to burn. Then you start seeing things in the fog that aren't there until there is something there, then it's to late.total fog,and a trucker running 70mph....what could go wrong?
seriously, how do you even see the highway in that fog at that speed?
And there are more of them. The quality of "professional" truckers is way down from the 70's.
Yep. More fuel for the autonomous trucker and cars for the government to sell the public. And there are more of them.
