I have a new TCI TF 727 SSF

I also have a new trans temp gauge from NVU: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/nvu-40195-01

What is the best place to install the sender into the transmission? Says it is a 1/8th NPT, maybe a bushing needed?

Thanks

Ummm.... on my trans I have several plugged places that may work.... having never done it I would pull one of the plugs on the housing low neer the pan so it would be submerged in fluid and use a drill bit the size of the sender tip to use as a depth gauge and give some extra room like a 1/4" for clearance.... Or if that didn't work out I would drill a 1/2" hole and install a drain plug kit in the side of the pan again where it won't interfere like neer the dip tube... I believe the drain plug I got was 1/8" npt... but double check everything before you commit.... somehow somewhere it will fit...

The way I have seen it done in the past is that sender is screwed into a manifold (A "Tee", made of brass or steel) plumbed in line. Outbound line.
The Tee is just like what brake lines use.

The factory usually put it in the cooler pressure line near the trans. Ron
