hey gang,

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank all my overseas friends at the Houston Mopar Connection club;
I am going to the difficult process of fighting cancer, and my buddies autographed a flag and they have sent it to me a few weeks ago, together with a hat, t-shirts and a get-well-soon-card.

Thanks again my friends, for all the support, comfort and prayers.

sincerely,
Marcel van Melis

hey gang,
sooo...chemotherapy worked perfectly; tumor in my colon isn't visible anymore and the livertumor decreased. Now i am waiting for a call from the hospital for liversurgery. The doctors are gonna take off the right liverhalf ( biggest half of the liver ) so let's hope they will succeed.

thanks for the prayers and support,
Marcel

Good luck to you buddy, although, I'm sure you won't need it. My Dad just had his right kidney removed last month and the upper and lower lobes of his right lung out last week because of cancer. It's going to hurt like hell, but I'm sure you'll pull through just fine in the end.

I'll tell you like I told my Dad last week. When it gets rough, quit complaining, hang the chemo bag on the "Oh SH!T handle" above the door and get the tires loose!:3gears:

Seriously though, get better soon.

I still have my Plymouth Savoy in the middle of a restoration, so i'd better get out of that surgery as a healthy man :eek:)
