The Gas Bubble

Only in Joisey !!!!

The writer obviously spends way too much time in Mustangs, Camaros, and other vanilla cars because most 60s-70s Mopars get those kinds of reactions when they are done right for the period.

Old Topic.

With that said, I think it's cool. I like the '60s showcar genre along with the metal flake paint. Would I own it? No way.

The title of this thread make me have juvenile thoughts and I'm trying to act my age right now, but you have no idea how difficult it it to be a 17 year old trapped in a grown man's body.

Such is the cross I have to bear.

Such is the cross I have to bear.

But it's your cross RC/DH...

seen it a while ago now, not my cup of tea, but I do like some of the futuristic show cars type concepts & builds, from the 60's era...

Strange...but creative...
Much like a Ed "Big Daddy" Roth creation....
Sounds like a "440" in the car...(wedge motor as the editor cited)

That car was on tv a few weeks back ...... the one with Denis whats his name with the big odd mustache..... they went for a short ride and by the time they got back they were about to melt inside the green house seeing it has no AC! and no Windows!

A classic Barris bubble top- the Cosma Ray.

Seems like a waste of 63 Fury convertible that looks like it's in pretty good shape. But that's JMHFO.

Ed Big Daddy Roth bubble car too, among other 60's bubble cars, the Bat Mobile was a bubble top show car Lincoln of some kind too... there were a bunch of bubble top concept/show cars... I think he's just trying to pay homage to that era...

I totally agree. And if you look at it that way, I think it's a good representation- even with the gasser-like front end.

I think it was Roth that was quoted as saying "The bubble tops might look cool but when it's sunny it's like a fu*king sauna in there."

Roth's creations came to mind when I first saw it.

The Orbitron was recently found in Mexico where it was being used as someone's recycle bin or something. It has since been restored.
