I want to know the science behind how every delivery company manages “tuesday by end of day” to always, invariably, mean “tuesday AT end of day”.

Seriously though, did they all contract Santa to make sure all the packages go at the exact same time??

I live out in the country and I rarely get a UPS or fedex delivery before 5 PM.
I’ve had them as late as 7PM.

Fed ex typically comes early my package will be on the porch when I get home in the afternoon, ups I typically receive between 5-7. Seems like when it’s something I’m really excited about I don’t get it til 7...

We’re a bit in the boonies too... we don’t get anything package-wise before 5, usually at 7. :/ it’s annoying. Waited all day for the new carb today, so I could get it on and base tuned for tomorrow... and now it’s on the car, at 8:15, but my kid went to sleep and firing up the 440 to tune it is “frowned upon”.

Not living in the boonies usually get USPS, Ups & Fed Ex between 11 AM & 1 PM. If doesn't come then I'm disappointed.

The weird part for me is that it’s never mattered where I live... downtown (big cities, like LA or Vegas) or out in the woods... its always AT end of day.

Fedex or UPS usually comes after 7pm to me.
I live right down the street from both of their hubs
so I'm pretty sure I'm made the last stop on the route..
