So I started watching this video yesterday posted to my Facebook page not really caring much about any of the cars (although I admit that Mustang is baddass) when they started talking about what parts were fabricated to make the Mustang so lightweight (Heater box, centre console, custom fender flares)..... The catch is THESE PARTS WERE ALL MADE WITH 3D PRINTING!!

Admittedly the concept of this still kind of "freaks me out" a bit.... anyways... MIND BLOWN!

Jeez, every supercar shootout I see is always won by modded AWD 911s. Would like to spend an afternoon in one.

Agent 47 has been around for a few years...make a lot of very cool things for Mustangs, and employ 'real' engineering. This looks like their first attempt at a turn key car. I like the heat extractor hood the most...lotta race car specific elements overall...yum...

technology at it's best, I'd really like to have one of them 3d printers for Prototyping, I looked into a 400-cu.in. capacity & fully set up was about $4k, before shipping &/or electrical & installation... I'd figure out a way of making money even in this horrid economy... As long as they are big enough, 400 cu.in. was NOT really big enough for what I wanted to do, especially to do the larger pieces like, grills, consoles, trim, handles, emblems, heads, covers, pans, pumps housings, carbs, injector manifolds, intakes, scoops, blocks, gun frames etc. for direct use, you can use many different colors & even have the plastic chromed or even for mock ups or casting or what ever....
