The 64 post I'm working on is my first project car, and I have to say I'm learning a lot.

Next time I start a project car I will take pictures of everything before I start any dismantling. Also get a better system of storing parts till the rebuild.

I'm doing pretty good but just spent 4 - 5 hours reinstalling the window mechanisms and the door latch mechanisms. Felt like a mokey f ing a football. :idea1:

I do have a manual for the car but it really leaves a lot to be desired.

So a warning to people starting out on a first time project car..........take plenty of pictures, write notes, and get a good system for storing parts / fasteners.

Rant over.:icon_axe:

Man, the windows in my 66 post were the easiest I've ever done!! Try doing an E body lol. I used to part cars in the 70's so I learned a lot from that but now that it's been a long time since doing that, I've forgotten a lot....plus getting old timers disease....

I take pictures of every disassembly and reassembly and everything in between.
I always go back and see how I had it done previously. Makes things alot easier.
