Torsion bar twist
Purchased new PST 1.03dia. torsion bars. Sitting next to the old torsion bars, there is a visable twist in the old torsion bars.(One end 90° out from the other end)

There doesn't appear to be any visable twist on the new ones, although each is marked as to what side of vehicle it goes on.

The new torsion bars have stamping on one end. I assume that end goes where it gets clipped in.

The bigger t-bars are not twisted cause they are so big to begin with. Also the part numbers go where you said.

If you can let me know how those bars affect your car, just bought the same ones but gonna be awile before I get to install them. But I have notice a large differance in the weight between the old & new.

I put the same bars in my 68 Satellite and the first thing you will notice is how little you have to crank the adjusters in to get your ride height set. The suspension is much stiffer with the new bars and gas shocks. add a 1-1/8" sway bar and the car handles way better then worn out stock.

Ok

Just getting ready to install the T-bars and have been doing a little exploration on google and am reading several horror stories about clocking issues with these bars.

Before i install and cannot return these bars does anyone have these bars in a 67 coronet or satellite with a photo of how it sits. Also any advice for the install. I contacted PST and they said the bars will slightly lower the stance but will not slam it to the ground.

They are lying. Return them and get the .96 bars. They are going to slam the nose of the car. PST told me they have been getting many complaints about those bars. Do NOT install them!
