I wish I was as old as you guys so I could have fond memories too!
Fenton wheel--COOL ! I have a pair of excellent condition Fenton Hustler 5 spoke "mags" on my 64 Dodge nostalgia street and strip car. I understand that Fenton made them for only a couple years in the mid 60's. Is that true?.................................MOI worked for FENTON WHEEL during the OCIR heydays. I had season pass and credentials to watch races from top floor of the tower. We were NHRA Major Sponsors from 1971 thru 1982...Those were good days...
Thats a true statement right there!BOBTILE IS ALL KNOWING AND ALL POWERFUL.
My buddy and I used to go down there from Sacramento in the 1968-1970 time frame when I was stationed in Sacramento in the USAF. We used to run his 70 Plum Crazy 440 dodge 4spd at the local track on Saturdays as "pure stock" against whatever Chevelles, Fords, etc showed up. It was a work track, nothing planned, no classes, run as soon as you got back in line.
Then being in the mood, down to OCR on Sundays and watch The Hawaiian, Snake-Mongoose, Jungle Jim (& Pam), and all the others! What a hoot. No security; numerous times I went down to the end of the guard rails with my 35mm camera very close to the nearest lane and got shots at the end of their runs. Good times!!!

Thanks Mike. I guess the internet is not always right. LOL These are nice mags, I really like them...................MOCornpatch,
We made the FENTON HUSTLER 5 spoke Mags (1 piece cast aluminum) for several years...from mid 1960's all the way thru 1983 when the company went out of business. The Hustler was a take-off on the American Racing Torque-Thrust 5 spoke Mag Wheel.
