Love that car

great story too

I read the article in the mag. It is great story. His dad lived in a brief-remarkable era of automotive glory as did my elder cousin. He had bought a '64 SF new with the 361 auto that I got a thrilling ride in as a youngster 9 years his junior. That was my intro to that era mopar I always wanted and finally bought one 30 years later. But - then - at 18 years old, after having the SF just a month or so...not good enough. He somehow talked his dad into letting him buy a new '64 Polara 426/4sp! He won a ton of trophies with it. His dad decided to take over the Fury as his driver and sell the Olds Starfire he had at the time.

Great story, thanks for sharing!!
