Thoughts on this car.. 270 hemi

wire-anchor-keep-getting-stuck-800x800.jpg

I didnt see the 5k for it all, I only saw the 2k OBO.. so I was thinking 800...hahahaha... it's been on there for a bit but 5k to 800 wont happen... I keep looking for deals on wheels.. :)

It will make a neat mild custom,or an all out custom even a weekend cruiser! The hemi looks impressive not much on performance though!IMO the 5 grand isn't too far out of line!It would cost at least 3,000 to rebuild the engine. If it wasn't so far away I'd consider buying it!

I wouldn't get the car with intentions of putting THAT Hemi in it. It would be a slug. That car is HEAVY. You could sell the little Hemi and buy a 392 to build.

it would be a great hot rod or complete resto however; something feels fishy 'bout this one... doesn't really matter to me, just sayin'

Not my favorite Body Style, could be a cool car slammed & the right paint, stance & wheels/tires... The Early Hemis 270ci -315ci -354ci -392ci & others, are tough to get parts & drive-train components for, as you may know already, along with Hemi Hot Heads you can try PAW {Performance Automotive Warehouse} in SoCal... That car looks pretty solid, I'm not sure of what it's worth it's worth what someone will pay I guess, I wouldn't probably pay $5K, but that 270ci Red Ram Hemi, not the most desirable of the early Hemi's, it would/should be worth at a minimum $2500 easily all by it's self, if it is actually fully rebuilt, hopefully the have exhaust system too, so if the cars is worth $2500 to you, it's a decent deal... There was some mid 50's cars & parts stuff for 50's Chrysler's & Plymouth's on www.HotRodHotLine.com a while back... Good luck in what ever you decide...

It would make a BITCHEN' 60's Gasser Look too

Hot heads has tons of parts for them.

Yep they've come a long way, from not to long ago, they were nearly almost impossible to gets parts for, especially at a decent price & not a small kings ransom...

I like the car (my 2nd choice)...like the `56s a little better, but it's still way cool. I've been keeping a casual eye out for one myself...just need to find one a lot closer. Shipping would double my price.

As far as the motor? Don' ask me...my latest build was a massaged Poly 318!...and have been having fun with it. I know, crazy, right?
