I need to replace my current throttle cable. The current "cable" is mostly a rig job. I would like to know where to get an OEM cable for a '66 belvedere II that has a 360 in it. If OEM not possible, then I would like to know where to get an aftermarket cable that is the best fit.

You mean 361? Because 360 is a small block and did not exist back then.

The cable should be the same as other big block B bodies up to 69 (I think). It should be a common item. Try PG Classics or Year One. You might even try pick N pull and see if you can get the length close enough from an old Cordoba or something. I used a slant 6 cable out of an A body in my 68 RR because of a high rise intake. Those are longer because where the carb sits.

I'll try looking there. It has a 360 that is not the original engine. Thanks.

OK. The 360 (if it has a 4 BBL) will have a fairly high rise intake compared to a 318 2 BBL and might need a longer cable than a 318 B body. Still, you should be able to find one easily.

I checked out pg classics, no dice. Yearone has a cable for '66 b bodies with 383. They also make a cable for '67 b bodies with small block. I'm wondering what the difference is. My 360 has an edelbrock performer intake and an edelbrock 600 cfm carb.

66 and 67 should be the same. I have a 66 Belvedere BB car.

The difference is probably the length. The Edelbrock is about as high as the factory cast 360 4 BBL intake. I THINK a 383 cable will work fine.

I used a 383 cable on a 340 in a 67 Coronet 500 once, the car was a 383 car that we put a 340 into, worked fine, without any issues.

check out Lokar .... they have some nice cables, i have one on mine ...
