Throttle cable length?

21" end to end on a '68; oughta be the same.

Thanks, mine is getting a little frayed at one end and with the AR engineering throttle bracket for the manifold and carb combo I'm just going to get an aftermarket one. On the stock one that metal housing around the carb end hits the AR bracket and prevents WOT had to make a mod so might as well replace it anyway.

Anyone have a pic of the pedal where the cable attaches? how does your after market cable attach to the factory assembly?

The ball end on the cable fits through the bigger part of the little slot, then slide it up and put the screw in the bigger part, to keep he cable ball from slippibg out...I lost my original screw you can see the one I replaced it with lol

Depends on which engine. 6 cylinder is the longest. Works well with tall manifolds and Crossrams.

Mine has what looks like a snap in plug to hold the ball end. Was thinking the same thing use a screw and nut or hoping i can get the same plug out and reuse it.

Oh that's right, mine originally had a little snap-in plastic plug too...

Changed my cable after 48yrs last summer because I was leery of it lasting & the little plug came right out. Cross ur fingers!

Sorry, really not trying to blind everybody. Can't sharpen it up. Go to AR Engineering site to actually be able to read it...

I picked up a universal set up that works I don't like or trust the carb end where it sits in the fitting with a set screw, So I am getting more cable and going to loop in through the carb end and then back onto itself just to make sure there isn't a chance of it slipping out. here is what I got, Also on the pedal side the ball end I was able to go right back into the factory set up reusing the plastic plug and there was even a hole I used to secure the split end to inside the factory bracket it seems to line up perfectly so its secure on that end for sure. I'll post pics later today.

thats what i have been finding too. needed one with the torker 2 manifold and the mopar dual plane. they are perfect!

I can say the universal one did the job. I doubled iber the cable through rhe fitting on rhe carb linkage side and secured it with a crimp and rhe set screw that came with it. Good to go and it looks good too
