I think the MP Six Pack/6-BBL specific cable is slightly beefier, than the single 4 bbl cable, it may hold up better, I haven't ever broke one yet but have heard of other people having an issue, I always lube mine up as much as I can soaking the cable with WD-40 or also tried Graphite spray &/or Silicone Spray lubricant may also work, forced into both ends before installing it, seems to work great so far...
Lokar cable solves alot of problems. For the $30 it is a no brainer. The cable and the cover is stainless. The cover is teflon lined. It also comes with a couple of end adapters. My first cable I bought in 1998 still going strong.
Just installed both cables on my engine...let me give you a heads up....if you install the throttle cable you will have to install the kick down cable if you running an automatic with anything other than a full manual valve body.
