Without getting into too much details, the short story is gasoline vapors & flame= bad news. This bit of carelessness netted me 8 days in the hospital burn unit & another year & a half of subsequent hospital visits & treatments. Let me tell you that there was more pain and discomfort than you can ever imagine. Now, nearly 2 1/2 year later, I'm 99% back to normal, but the burn scars on my arm are still evident & always will be there. If it wasn't for my hairy chest, the skin graft would stick out like a sore thumb and my leg still shows some discoloration where they took the donor skin from. That was not a fun time in my life at all.
