Tick Tock Tach Quartz Upgrade...HELP!!! :-D

Hey guys,

I just finished getting the quartz movement in my tick tock. The kit did not come with instructions, and the DVD looked like it was from the Dukes of Hazard era... nothing mentioned the little black wire that was included, nor where I'm supposed to solder the hot lead (and possibly the ground I'm guessing?

I know it's been done a thousand times. Where do I stick the wires?

Looking at the posted pic the connections solder on the top right of the board where it's labeled 12/24 and
GND

It comes with a little jumper wire. I guess I go ground to the frame for that one. Thanks!

Is this a DIY kit you bought? I had mine done by a Gauge Repair company years ago - clock was a sealed quartz type.

yeah. Got it on eBay for $88. Works great. Got it all back together, then the dang adjustment pin gear popped off... now I gotta get back in there. ARG!!! I think I'm gonna superglue the thing on the pin this time. There doesn't appear to have been a retaining clip.
