Timing 70 383

Which way do I rotate the distubiter to advance it? I want to get a little more timing out of it. Thanks Ronnie

your distributor turns counter clockwise....so to ad vance it ,,,you will turn it counter clockwise ....to retard it,,,,turn it clockwise. this information is on the intake manifold cast in iron !

I think you've got it backwards, CCW to retard, CW to advance.

advance= with rotatation
retard= against rotation....if memory serves me correctly and i was taught the right way....if not....then i am dead wrong and owe you an apology.....
