i was thinking of useing 255/60 r15 on 8 inch magnum 500 wheels all the way around on my gtx will this work without any probems?

I know a guy who fit that size all the way around on his '68 Roadrunner with no problems. It will fit, but I don't know if the steering is too heavy for normal everyday street driving....anyone care to speak from experience on this?

yes....i have that size(255-60) on all 4 on my 70 RR see the pix with the cooper cobras with the Mag 500's... the fronts are not too wide,,,looks great and drives SUPERBLY.( i have power steering). i see no problems at all and have not had any problems. i have mine on a 7 inch rim. an 8 inch rim might make them look "puffy" your call!

I have 245/60/15's on the front of one of my RR's with 255's on the back. I did bolt the 255's on the front once and remember thinking it would work but is getting pretty tight.

I have the 255/60's in front as well. Without power steering, it is heavy on tight corners or slow turns, but not unmanageable. When turned lock to lock, the tires do rub so not going all the way is easy enough to adjust to

thanks i went with the 255/60 all way around looks good mine has power steering it seems ok..
