what is the widest size tire can i stuff in the back of my 65 coronet without change spring location and everything?im am going to run torq thrust ds whhat size rim would go with that tire?
-thanks Matt
Before I relocated the springs and mini tubbed my '65 Coronet, I was able to run 275-60X15 rears on 7" wheels, and still maintain street clearance. The '65 has the smallest wheel well of any of the early "B" bodies. I now have 295-50X15 Dunlops on 10" wheels. Clearance is good, but I am looking for a true street tire in something taller. 29" tall with a 14" section width is my goal.
