I can not get the spring clip on the trunk lock cylinder.
Is there a special tool or do in need to disassemble the latch mechanism?

The hole left of the cylinder is too small to reach with fingers and to hard an angle to get with needle nose pliers.
All help appreciated.

I dont know how big the hole is behind the mechanism but if it's big enough to work through, mark the washers on the bolts so you can install it right back where it was, then remove it for better access. Maybe feel for the size hole that's behind it before removal.
