They are located in the lower control arms and are used to adjust the torsion bars for ride height. If you plan on doing any front end disassembly, you have to unscrew them to take the load off of the bars. If you take a look at the LCA's, you can spot them sticking down just a bit from the inboard center of the LCA's. Many people who do not know how to work on Mopars some times end up breaking or stripping them out because they are either rusty or full of crud.

Just means I'm bumping the ad back up. All of the adjusters I have came off of B and E body cars but mostly E cars. I do have one set with slightly shorter adjusters. I can also cut to any length and machine new rounded ends if you need something shorter.

I don't have mine off the car so I don't know length I figured b bodies are all the same.

The ones that came off my 66 are the same from a pair I got off of a 67 B and don't see why they would be any different for the 68-70 cars. I've only parted a few B cars in my life so I can't say first hand if that's true or not. The shorter ones I have are not very much shorter. Also, I've never see any adjusters on any factory cars that didn't have enough threads showing where you couldn't adjust them up higher if you wanted to but imo, most cars that came out of the factory doors were too high to my liking anyways.

just took a rough measurement about 3"

Those would be the shorter ones while would be the ones I have and are 3 1/4" from the round nose to the bottom of the hex. The long ones are 3 5/8"

Do you have any of the long ones left ? ... I only need 1 tho ...

Yes, I have one long bolt adjuster left. Sorry I didn't see this until now.....it's always best to send a note using the PM system for immediate response.
