Quick question, does it matter which direction the torsion bars are installed?

Obviously there is a left and a right, but does the 'L' or 'R' need to point toward the front or back of the car? Or doesn't it matter?

Trying to get my girl back on all fours, Thanks!

The part number should be on the back. But the shiniest cleanest end Indicates which end was in the front.

Yes it matters because they twist when you tighten the tensioners. If they are the old ones then they should go back as they came in.
