The 103 torsion bars are bigger than the stock Hemi bars, therefore I don't think they will be to light. You should be able to adjust ride height anywhere you want it within reason and not sacrifice handling.

Thank u I know guys are running larger torsion bars was wondering there like and if there’s dislikes I jut don’t want to change them out if I don’t have to

Have you driven the car? If so what does it drive like? Do you have an anti-sway bar on the front? What shocks are on the car? What size wheel and tire up front? Are you going to drive the car hard around corners or is it a trailer queen? Do you know how much the car weighs? Do you know the corner weights or the front and rear weight distribution?

Too light?
Maybe you mean too small?
These cars were softly sprung when new. Modern cars have far more rate than our old cars did and they ride and handle much better.
I run 1.15 bars in my '70 Charger with several aluminum components up front to save weight. The battery is in the trunk too.
If your goal is primarily straight line stuff or general cruising, those 1.03s will be fine. I'm guessing that very few people buy a heavy HEMI to road race or autocross!

Probably so, I think I was using the Posters term.

Yes, for street driving the 1.03 bars will work just fine. They are much stiffer than what the factory put in the Hemi cars and most Hemi engines built these days will have aluminum heads rather than cast iron. That by itself takes a bunch of weight off the nose. So if the OP is driving the car on the street then the 1.03 bars should be fine. I'd use a good shock with 1.03 bars. Either a Koni or a Bilstein or perhaps the Fox shocks from Hotchkis. I wouldn't use a cheap shock.

If the OP is serious about pro touring then he might want to go with an even stiffer from bar as well as a big anti-sway bar. OP didn't provide many details on the car so hard to provide a good answer. As the man says, "want a better answer then ask a better question".

Yes I should have given more detail, auto cross no I’m still building the car front sway bar is 1 1/4 double adjustable shocks ,front tires I haven gotten to yet I just ordered firm feel 112 torsion bars and u are correct it’s the diameter now I’m pluming the hydro boost it’s all vary time consuming as I’m just trying to put all the parts together thank u all for your response this web site has a lot of people with a lot of knowledge so I’ll give a little more detail on my next question

A comma and a period now and then are helpful too. :bananadance:
