This may not be the thread for this section and it may sound stupid or even naive, but I figured that many on here would have a solid answer to my question.
If for instance you are pulling a U-haul open car carrier /trailer with a truck from Michigan with Michigan plates to go pick up a race car in New York, will you stand the chance of being stopped and given a citation for driving through three states with the package under the social distance mandates? It just seems confusing since I understand the "distance" law to keep us safe, but is it violating the law being that you are in your vehicle and passing through?
Highway/state troopers, tow rig drivers please apply.
