tranny/converter?

i have a 727 push button tranny iam going to use,that has the big looks like 12'' converter, and i have a 727 std tranny that has a 11'' converter, not sure where it came from...is that 11''some kind of lite stall, and is it worth changing the pump and knocking the weights off to use in my push button, thanks...

The 11" is a higher stall speed. The pushbutton trans has the early input spline, make sure the 11 inch does as well. The weights are for the specific balance of the engine so only knock them off as needed. The fact that it is weighted tells me it will have the later spline so your converter builder will need to change the turbine spline for you.
