I'd been searching a bit for a more positive seal method for the transmission fill tube.

Never been a fan of the O ring approach. I'd found some other options on the forum and then discovered this setup on eBay. Priced under $10.00 from one supplier.

Kit came a few days ago. I cut off the bottom end of the fill tube using a plumbing pipe cutter. Then brazed the fill tune to this new end. It went together slick. Fits snug and I'm anxious to try it. I liked it so much I ordered 2 more for the future.

Just wanted to pass this along, should someone else out there be looking for a similar solution.

I've never had a problem with the factory setup. Been driving nothing but Chrysler products for over 50 years. Just sayin. ruffcut

I did this mod several years ago. If I recall it just required a piece of 3/4" steel tubing (which I found in my stash) and the later model dipstick tube seal.

I always slather a little Ultra Grey silicone ( the good stuff, high vibration) on the end and the oring just before bolting to the bell. Always been a good way to go.

Local dragstrip likes locking dipsticks, so I bought the entire assembly. Plenty of choices at Summit.
