I recently have completed a motor swap in my 74 charger. It was a factory 318 car with many miles on it. I acquired a lightly used 440 engine and trans from my step father. It came out of a 79 winnebago. I used the hughes conversion mounts for the motor. I had to switch over the tail shaft section of my transmission to work with the slip-yoke driveline. Now the trans doesn't go into park. If it helps I am also using the cable shifter from the motorhome.
