Transmission kickdown linkage

Looking for a complete transmission kickdown assembly for my 1966 Satellite. I have a 318 Poly and believe a 727 transmission. Just picked up the car and found out that the assembly is missing. Anybody know if it has to be specific to the 318 or will similar small blocks work as well.

66 poly 318 kick down is a one year deal, as it went with the 3 piece system that year. fairly common though. LA 273 318 kd bracket is different.

Just got done installing the Lokar bracket and Lokar throttle cable yesterday. Spent a good amount of time getting it right but I like it so far. Next comes the Lokar kickdown cable when I get the time this week/weekend. When you adjust for the kickdown, do you pull all the slack out of it when the throttle is at idle and when at full open it should push it back for the kickdown?

update...after reading the Lokar instructions, you have to have the throttle at wide open and then pull all of the slack out of the kickdown cable. I was able to use a zip tie and forced the throttle plate fully open and tie it off, then I went and pulled all of the slack out of the kickdown and walla!

Lokar kickdown cable installed today and I now have a passing gear. I will say that Lokar was spot on when I contacted their tech support folks, they gave me all of the installation instructions ahead of time and even clued me in that their distributors offer the same product but at a slightly reduced rate. I now have no fear taking the car into a passing situation and knowing that my satty will be able to pass whenever the need arises.
