The 8 at the beginning of the stamped numbers tells us it's from a 1968 model year car. The B tells us it was put in a car built at the Hamtramck plant. The VIN puts the car at about a late May build. Depending on the number of input splines and configuration it could be from a Charger R/T, a Charger, a Dart or a Barracuda.
